Why Huff Construction Supports Youth Mental Health through First Tee:
At Huff Construction, we know everything depends on a strong foundation. We believe the same is true of mental health. Health of the mind is foundational to all other skills.
It’s hard to teach a kid perseverance, confidence, or self-control when something bigger is getting in the way. Sometimes those struggles begin early. Sometimes they show up later. Either way, people do better when somebody notices.
That’s why we support youth mental health through First Tee. These kids are outside, moving their bodies, feeling the sun and wind, putting their screens away and spending real time with people who know them. Their coaches notice when they’re frustrated or withdrawn, when they need encouragement, and when they need someone to stick with them. Huff Construction supports this work because nobody gets through the hard stuff alone.
